![]() Also submarine warfare as a whole, not a very known topic, especially the American one, as it did not get any press during WW2, in order to stay secret. It's a subject that is not discussed in my countries (Eastern Europe region) history curriculum, so it was very insightful. I love the SH games as a whole, especially SH4, as it got me interested in the Pacific theatre. SH5, well I have no idea about it, I think there are some mods that improve the game, but basically UBI abandoned the game, not fixing some serious bugs. ![]() Also as an american sub, it would be a little easier for you than a german U-boat commander if you play vanilla version (The TMO mod is unforgiving in it's difficulty), japanese anti submarine warfare was not as advanced as allied. ![]() It's mind boggling how much the modders put into the game, it's a completely different experience. But I cannot play it unmodded, as the mods bring so much life into the game. With SH4 there is no problem with resolution, and it's my favorite game in the series, the one that I suggest. If you get SH3 and you have an LCD monitor, it could be troubling to get it running on your PC, as it's capped to 1280x1024 resolution, there are some widescreen mods but they are buggy I think. Unfortunately, due to the team's real life commitments and the likelihood. Building on the success of our expansion packs for 'Silent Hunter 3', in early 2009 the team began creating the next installment in the GWX series: GWX4, a freeware expansion pack for 'Silent Hunter 4: U-boat Missions'. For SH3 it is GWX mod, and for SH4 for me it's TMO. UPDATE: Journey's End for The Grey Wolves Mod Team. Silent hunter is a game that comes alive with mods. ![]()
